Oil Industry’s War Policy to Continue

A Boston Daily Globe article from 1919 outlining the close collaboration between the oil industry and U.S. government. The language from the article has the petroleum industry touting their role in winning World War I, and the dependence of key victories on oil. An industry spokesman went so far as to say the oil industry, “had earned the right to expect a tolerant attitude on the part of the Government.”
